As the City Corporation is gearing up to achieve 100% source segregation and the residents asked to segregate the waste into Wet and Dry using green and blue bins. While wet wastes generated would be collected on all week days except Wednesdays and Dry Waste will be collected only on Wednesdays said a Corporation communique.
According Dr.K.Vijayakarthikeyan Commissioner and Special Officer Coimbatore Corporation the collected Wet and Dry Wastes will be scientifically transported, processed and disposed. The new system will be put in to practice soon.
